Learning Objectives
Upon completion of the training, participants will be able to:
- Describe the legal requirements for engaging in advocacy and lobbying as a non-profit organization
- Identify the systems (legislature, media, agencies) that you need to impact and how to influence them
- Explain how to effectively communicate your message, utilizing many options and channels
- Describe proven methods for engaging and mobilizing relevant stakeholders at the grassroots level
