Collaboration between Career Services and Disability Services Works! The DCO Model

Abstract

The presentation will introduce the Disability-Careers Office (DCO) model for assisting students with disabilities, by providing career planning services and guidance.  The history of the implementation of the DCO and the collaboration between Career Services and Disability Services will be covered.  The speakers will also focus on specific topics, such as campus and community collaboration and outreach, roles and responsibilities of the DCO Coordinator, and student services provided.
