Disaster Preparedness for Individuals with Disabilities

About the Presenter

Jacquie Brennan is an disability law attorney who started her career with ILRU at Memorial Hermann TIRR by coordinating the organization's response to the 2005 hurricanes. Her interest in disability law started with her nine children, the youngest five of whom are adopted and have different kinds of disabilities. She has interviewed, and provided resources to, hundreds of hurricane evacuees and has provided training to many businesses, individuals, and government agencies on emergency planning for individuals with disabilities.
