A Roundtable on Coping with Chronic Illness and Disability

Dr. Beatrice Wright, Ph.D., an Emerita professor of psychology, University of Kansas, is a founder of the Division on Rehabilitation Psychology of the American Psychological Association (APA) and is an author of numerous articles and books. APA selected two of her books using a psychosocial approach to disability issues for inclusion in the canon of distinguished and classic books in psychology.

Dr. Hanoch Livneh, Ph.D., CRC, is a professor and coordinator of the rehabilitation counseling program at Portland State University. He is an APA Fellow in the division of Rehabilitation Psychology. His research interests include coping with and adaptation to chronic illness and disability, attitudes toward people with disability, and the measurement of outcomes in rehabilitation.
