Abstract

This webcast is the last in a series of five once-a-month webcasts on ADA Transportation featuring Marilyn Golden of the Disability Rights Education and Defense Fund (DREDF).

This webcast will focus on ADA paratransit, emphasizing aspects of this topic that have not already been covered in depth during this series. Topics will include making fixed route systems fully accessible and the impact on paratransit, the commuter bus exception, the ADA paratransit service criteria, capacity constraints including trip denials, paratransit reservation telephone hold times, and subscription service issues.
