The Department of Rehabilitative Services is seeking a qualified candidate that is responsible for the maintenance and quality control of systems and procedures which support the Statewide Independent Living program, including the network of CILs, the Statewide Independent Living Council, and other programs which interface with the Independent Living program. This includes site visits and other evaluation tools; training and technical assistance; budget analysis and monitoring; Requests for Proposals (RFP) development; data collection; grant monitoring distribution of funds; technical assistance and training.
Requirements: Knowledge of the Independent Living program philosophy and discipline, evaluation and training techniques and quality control. Good written and oral communication skills, public relations skills, and negotiation skills. Knowledge of Windows-based or similar software and other computer skills which assist in report writing, data collection, and report analysis. Knowledge of fiscal regulations, rules and practices as relates to the state, community programs and non-profits. Knowledge of Independent Living laws and regulations. Bachelor’s degree in rehabilitation, social work, or other human services area or equivalent education and experience. Some experience in program evaluation and monitoring of budgets desired.
