Pat is an experienced trainer and technical assistance (TA) provider with special expertise in supportive housing and other issues related to serving individuals who are homeless. At Advocates for Human Potential she trains agencies and staff in Permanent Supported Housing, Supported Employment, Harm Reduction, Motivational Interviewing, and Housing First. She also trains and provides TA on supportive housing and supported employment for the Detroit-Wayne County Community Mental Health Agency, as part of a Michigan Department of Community Health program to assist individuals with severe disabilities and co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Ms. Tucker also teaches courses in supportive housing principles at Wright College in Chicago.
