The National Survey on Health and Disability (NSHD) is live and needs your help! The NSHD gives voice to the concerns of people with disabilities and documents their experiences with a variety of issues. Those include access to health care, insurance coverage, housing, transportation, Long COVID, employment and more. It also explores aspects of people's sense of belonging and how they matter.

USAging’s Aging and Disability Business Institute, in partnership with Scripps Gerontology Center at Miami University in Oxford, OH, has launched its fifth CBO–Health Care Contracting Survey to collect data on the experiences of aging and disability community-based organizations (CBOs), such as Centers for Independent Living contracting with health care entities and forming networks. Survey responses are critical to the understanding of how aging and disability CBOs and networks are adapting to contracting opportunities and challenges.

We have an excellent slate of new projects and opportunities for you to help ensure our efforts represent disability voices and experiences. These timely new projects include accessing and utilizing data, examining Personal Assistance Services workforce capacity, rural health promotion, rural transportation vouchers, and capacity building in home usability.
