Collecting Signatures Now Contest the NIMHD Advisory Council's Recent Rejection of Recommendations to Designate People with Disabilities as a ‘health disparity population’

We are writing to collect signatures to contest the National Institutes on Minority Health and Health Disparities (NIMHD) Advisory Council's recent rejection of recommendations to designate people with disabilities as a ‘health disparity population’.

This letter and signature list will be sent to leaders at the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), National Institutes of Health (NIH), and White House along with a letter from disability advocacy organizations written by Tony Coelho, former Congressman and disability advocate.
