Have you recently appealed a denial from a Medicaid health plan?

Have you recently appealed a denial from a Medicaid health plan?

We want to hear from you!

The Medicaid and CHIP Payment Access Commission (MACPAC) is doing a study to learn about how people use the Medicaid appeals process after getting a denial of services or equipment.

We are looking for people to participate in 90-minute virtual group conversations. We will give you a cash gift card to thank you for joining the conversation.

Who can participate?

We are looking for people who (1) filed an appeal with a Medicaid health plan because they were denied a service or equipment AND (2) the denial occurred in New York, California, Texas, Illinois, Florida, Delaware, Louisiana, Maryland, Rhode Island, or Ohio.

If you believe you quality for this study and are interested in joining, email or call Patrick McGowan from Mathematica:
MACPACFocusGroups@mathematica-mpr.com or (202) 912–1028

Include your phone number and the state your denial happened.

Participating is entirely up to you and will not affect your access to health care. Your information will not be shared with anyone outside of the research team.
