Invitation to Register: FEMA Civil Rights Summit 4.0 | Invitación para Registrarse: La Cumbre 4.0 de Derechos Civiles de FEMA

The FEMA Civil Rights Summit – 4.0 Advancing Environmental Justice is designed to foster dialogue and partnerships through direct engagement with FEMA. Presentations and discussion will cover FEMA programs and services, with special emphasis on understanding civil rights concerns within communities.

This year’s annual summit will focus on civil rights topics, including environmental justice, accessibility and equity. Presentations and discussions will allow participants to learn more about FEMA’s programs and services. There will be an emphasis on the impact of environmental issues on protected groups, intersectionality, and initiatives to incorporate and support environmental justice within emergency management.

FEMA leaders, external civil rights organizations and community leaders will present on topics to assist FEMA with understanding and addressing environmental justice issues.

When: Wednesday and Thursday, Nov. 1-2, 2022, from 12 Noon to 5 PM ET both days.
