Fact Sheets to Support Social Engagement of Older Adults
The internet is an important tool in our lives—and an important way to connect with others, which makes knowing how to safely use the internet essential. engAGED worked with Older Adults Technology Services (OATS) from AARP to develop a series of three fact sheets to provide older adults with tips, best practices and action steps they can use to browse the internet with confidence while protecting their personal information and socializing safely with others.
- Online Safety for Older Adults: Browsing the Internet Confidently
- Online Safety for Older Adults: Protecting Your Personal Information Online
- Online Safety for Older Adults: Socializing Safely Online
Each fact sheet is customizable, so organizations can add their logos before printing or electronically distributing to the older adults you serve.
