About the training
The conversation addresses outreach with Centers for Independent Living (CILs) and Statewide Independent Living Councils (SILCs) and how they engage in their outreach activities. So how can CILs and SILCs be intentional with their outreach? Intentional outreach is informed by consumers and the needs of your community. You will learn about the outreach requirements for CILs and SILCs and explore how developing intentional community connections can support your outreach efforts. The speakers provide examples of community outreach for engaging and connecting with diverse individuals with disabilities.
