Description
The Assistive Technology Act authorizes State Technology Act Programs like TechOWL which provide information, technology demonstrations, device loans, and other services related to Assistive Technology (AT) for people with disabilities. TechOWL has taken this one step further by developing a robust 3D-printing program to provide fabricated and customized assistive technology tools for people with disabilities in their state of Pennsylvania. In this session, we will explore their diverse 3D AT catalog, how this program was developed, how it operates, and the benefits of incorporating 3D-printed assistive technology into your own state’s AT program.
