About the training

The IL-NET National Training & Technical Assistance (T&TA) Center operated by ILRU in collaboration with NCIL, APRIL, and the University of Montana Rural Institute and RTC: Rural, supports CILs and SILCs in building capacity to run strong, effective disability-led organizations.

Work plan development is a critical and required tool for Centers for Independent Living (CILs). The process of work plan development creates an opportunity to ensure your CIL is operating in alignment with your vision, mission, independent living philosophy, consumer needs, and program requirements. Please join us on July 16, 2024 from 3:00 - 4:30 PM ET.

In this training, attendees will learn:

  • Elements of a strong work plan.
  • How work plans are used at centers for independent living (CILs).
  • How to use your work plans for internal evaluation to drive strong outcomes.
