Robert Hand recently retired as the Executive Director of Resources for Independence Central Valley, the independent living center that serves five counties in central California. He presently does consulting with independent living center's and other nonprofits as RJHand Consulting.
Robert worked in independent living for over ten years, and in disability services for forty-five years. He has a Masters in Rehabilitation Counseling and has taught nonprofit management at Fresno State University. Robert has done presentations and training on disability issues throughout the United States, in South Korea and in Dubai.
He is one of the designers of the Community Leadership Academy and the Leaders without Limits training manuals, and the primary facilitator for the train-the-trainer seminars.
